Champagne Beach

Champagne Beach is the most popular beach in the island of Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu. This is the major stop for cruise liners. So the beach is empty, when there is no ship in the bay. Small entrance fee is applied. The place is beautiful - with soft white sand, large trees and smooth entry into the water. There is a good snorkeling as well. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

There are no hotels just near the Champagne Beach, but few accomodation options are available at the nearby Lonnoc beach. By the way, that beach is even better and free of charge.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Port Vila international airport (VLI), and then fly to Espiritu Santo airport (SON). Next hire a taxi or take a bus.

However, Champaign Beach is more like a cruise spot, so its visitors usually don't have any questions on how to get there.

The best time to relax on Champagne Beach of Espiritu Santo island is a dry season from July to October.
