is a perfect local island in Noonu Atoll, Maldives. There is everything we want from the Maldives, - white sand, palms hanging over the water, clear azure water and even two bikini beaches in different sides of the island! There are almost no people ashore, since locals don't need a beach, while number of tourists is limited on the island. There is a superb home reef, so you can save a lot on diving tours. There is also an uninhabited sandbank located a little to the north, but tours are very expensive (from US$250 per boat). Some plastic trash comes from the ocean, but this is common for all of the Maldives. In the resorts, personal makes regular cleanups, but in local islands, nobody cares about it. There are several shops on the island with a basic choice of food and goods. Shore and seabed: sand. Find hotels in Fodhdhoo
