is an inexpensive island resort in Maldives, South Male Atoll
. The north end of the island has a great sand bar, while the west coast is suitable to relax on the beach under the shade of trees. There is also a house reef with good snorkelling. While the hotel is quite basic, the beach itself is so good, that there's no sense to take tours to uninhabited islands. However, coastal vegetation is poor, and the trash can often be met ashore, - but this is quite typical for the Maldives. Shore and seabed: sand.
Hotels Fun Island Resort
is a budget 3-stars hotel with a minimum room's rate of US$150 per night (but for most dates fares start from US$300). There are no overwater bungalows, that is even better, as nothing spoils the view from the beach.
The service is not very good, but it's Ok for a budget hotel, as value for money is good. But you should be careful with meals and additional costs, as the final bill may turn out be a bad surprise for you. Find hotels in Fun Island
