Golden Bay beach

Golden Bay is a wild beach to the north of Famagusta in the Northern Cyprus. Under the water, there is a breakwater protecting from strong waves. While there are beautiful sand dunes ashore and occasional trees. Silver Beach Plaj cafe may offer (in addition to food) sunbeds rental, as well as showers and changing rooms. There are no hotels right near the beach of Golden Bay. A little further to the south (not within a walking distance) in Famagusta, there is a good choice of hotels with rooms' fares starting from US$60 per night.

The best time for a holiday on the beaches of Cyprus is a warm period from June to September.
