Golden Beach

Golden Beach is a wild beach in the east of Northern Cyprus. It is also known as Altınkum. There is a good cheap restaurant being an anchor point for GPS-navigator. There is also a monastery a little further to the east - with good viewpoint nearby facing the beach. The beach itself is good enough, but not that outstanding. To be honest, it is just a good sandy beach with dunes. However, there are always just a few visitors there. So you'll easily find a secluded spot to enjoy beauty of this place without crowd. There are no hotels near the Golden Beach. However, wild camping is still possible.

Fly to Ercan international airport (ECN). Next get by bus or hire a taxi.
