Kemp's Bay beach
  Ultimate guide (November 2025)
Kemp's Bay is a beach on the east of
South Andros Island in the Bahamas. It is also known as
Nepuni Lohrii Beach or
Deep Creek Settlement. It is typical Caribbean with white sand. Vegetation is mainly bushes without any shade. Sea water has good snorkeling on the house reef. Unfortunately, there is often a lot of algae in summer. However, it's not so bad most of time. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
Paradise Beach Andros is a guesthouse with basic houses and beautiful area with picturesque trees and palms. However, they cut down all the original natural vegetation. So sometimes their "gardens" look rather poor. There are also several more hotels to the south - with most notable being
Nathan's Lodge,
Andros Beach Club,
Davis Hideaway,
Wilbanks Point and
Andros South Lodge. Since the beach is not so good, they focus on providing ocean fishing. Rooms' fares range from about US$250 to US$500 per night.

How to get there [edit]
 Fly to
Nassau international airport (NAS). Next make a domestic flight to
South Andros Airport (TZN), or fly to
San Andros airport (SAQ), or fly to
Andros Town airport (ASD).

When to go [edit]
The best time to travel to Andros island is a dry season in the winter half of the year. However, the summer is also good. Since sea water is much warmer, and there are no crowds of tourists.
