Punta Mita beach
  Ultimate guide (October 2025)
Punta Mita is an upscale resort area to the north of Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. While the hotels are the best in region, the beaches are rather mediocre. Well, everything is beautiful on the coast. But in the water, there are strong waves, and most of the bottom is rocky and unsuitable for swimming. A better beach (and cheaper hotels) can be found nearby - in the village of
El Anclote. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
 Four Seasons and
St. Regis are the most notable resorts in Punta Mita. Needless to say, that celebrity likes this place. There are more affordable hotels as well, but anyway these are of premium class with high end fares.

How to get there [edit]
 Fly to
Puerto Vallarta international airport (PVR). Next hire a taxi or get by bus.
