Sai Daeng beach

Sai Daeng is a small beach in the south of Koh Tao island in Thailand. The coastline is probably too much developed, but buildings are nice, and still it is a lot of trees. Right near the water edge, there are corals, so the snorkeling is good, while the swimming is not comfortable. It also becomes very shallow during the low tide. Shore and seabed: sand, pebble. Sai Daeng Resort is the only accomodation option on the beach with room's rates starting from US$80 per night. The property is very cozy, though not cheap by Thai standards. So this is a great deal if you are looking for a good holiday, and ready to pay a little more than usual.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Bangkok international airport (BKK). Next get to Koh Tao by Lomprayah catamaran, - you will be delivered by bus from Bangkok to Chumphon. The best way to get to the beach of Sai Daeng is by the water taxi. In addition, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle minibus running on a schedule.
