Vaikaradhoo island

Vaikaradhoo is a local island in the south of Haa Dhaalu atoll, Maldives. In the west, there is a small beach being suitable for swimming. There are almost no palms, and just a few trees. All other island's areas are not very interesting. Before you go here, it is worth to make a request about excursions they offer and about money they ask for it. If there are cheap daily tours to uninhabited islands, it makes sense to go here. Otherwise, you can easily find a more suitable island. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Boegas View Guesthouse is a 2-star guesthouse with rooms' rates starting from US$50 per night. On their website, they also offer some luxury rooms for US$250 per night. However, this is very expensive for the local island.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Maldives international airport (MLE). Next make a domestic flight to Hanimaadhoo airport (HAQ). Next get by boat provided by your hotel. Round transfer from Male and back is US$250 per person (discounted fares are available for children).

The best time to relax in Vaikaradhoo is a dry season in the winter half of the year.
