Wanyan beach
Ultimate guide (October 2025)
Wanyan is a wild beach on the east of Colonia Island, Yap Region, Micronesia. There are picturesque palms and no tourists. Unfortunately, swimming is not quite comfortable due to the partially rocky sea bottom. So it is worth to take special water shoes. The beach is private - like everywhere else on the island. So if you are informed about it, you should leave immediately or pay the fee (local person will tell you the amount). Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
