Woodford Hill beach
  Ultimate guide (October 2025)
Woodford Hill is a bay in the north of
Dominica island in the Caribbean. This is one of the best beaches of the island - with sand (in a contrast to the west coast) and without strong waves (unlike the east coast). And still it never becomes overcrowded. There are actually two stretches of beach, - the east (
La Taille Bay) near the creek and slightly more beautiful west beach called
Woodford Hill Bay. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
A little to the west of Woodford Hill, you can find many accommodation options in
Calibishie town. These are mainly small family run guesthouses. But still there are no any good resorts.

How to get there [edit]
 Fly to
Douglas–Charles airport (DOM) or fly to
Canefield airport (DCF). Next hire a taxi or take a bus.
