Al Ashkhara beach

Al Ashkhara is a private beach in the east of Oman. The beach itself is rather mediocre being suitable for walking only. However, the hotel grounds are beautiful, while three pools are great for swimming. Shops are located far away. So the best is to rely on the hotel's restaurant. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. How to get there [edit]

Fly to Muscat International Airport (MCT) or fly to Salalah International Airport (SLL). Next get by bus or hire a taxi.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in Oman is spring and autumn. Summer and winter are also good enough, but sea water is cooler. In winter - because it is winter, and in summer - because there are a lot of clouds in the sky.
