Dhawa Ihuru island

Dhawa Ihuru is a private island near international airport of the Maldives, North Male atoll. The beach has white sand, palms and good entry into the water, while right near the coastline there is a reef with excellent snorkeling. Dhawa Ihuru is a 5-star boutique resort with minimum room's rate of US$800 per night. But more realistic fares start from US$1000. Each villa has its own private beach.

Strange, but for that money the island has no pool, nor beach shower, nor gym. However, boutique hotel should be cozy, rather than provide unnecessary services.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Male international airport (MLE). Next to take a hotel's boat. Travel time is 25 minutes per way. Thransfer fee for the round trip including all taxes is US$190 per adult (from 12 years old), US$95 per child (4-11 years old), free for children under 4 years.

The best time for a beach holiday in the Angsana Ihuru of Maldives is a dry season in the winter half of the year.
