How to get there [edit]

Fly to Chania International Airport (CHQ) or sail by ferry from port Piraeus of Athens to Chania. Next hire a taxi or move by bus.

Ferry to Balos Lagoon departs from port of Kissamos (11 euros for the round trip).

When to go [edit]

Summer half of the year. Keep in mind that there are crowds here in July and August.
