Canoa beach

Canoa is a surfer beach, and it's the longest one in Ecuador. There are occasional palms and fine sand, however, this is not a tropical paradise. It's too far to walk to the water edge, while the ocean waves knock off even the strongest persons. However, this place has its magic and worth to spend a few days. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Near Playa Canoa there is a great choice of budget hotels from $30 per night per room. Recent years some luxury resorts began to appear.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Quito International Airport (UIO) or fly to Guayaquil International Airport (GYE). Next take a bus to Bahia de Caraquez or to San Vicente. Next take another bus to Canoa.

The best time for a beach holiday in the Canoa of Ecuador is a warm season from December to June.
