Los Frailes is the best beach in the continental Ecuador. There are no palms, nor lots of trees. However the coastline is beautiful and good for swimmers. Further to the north there is another beach (Playa Tortuga), which also worth a visit. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Hotels [edit]
Near the Los Frailes beach there are no hotels, nor any settlements. The best is to stay a bit to the south - in the popular beach of Puerto Lopez.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to Quito International Airport (UIO) or fly to Guayaquil International Airport (GYE). Next take a bus to Puerto Lopez.You may take a taxi to get to the beach of Los Frailes. There are also options of a package transfer. Ask local travel agencies.
