Dukhan is a popular family beach in the west of Qatar. This is a nice place with comfortable entering into the water, - without the crowd, but not too wild as well. There is even rental service for the water sports. Near the coast there is a reef with good snorkelling. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Dukhan has no hotels available for the online booking. You can spend the night in a tent right on the beach, or try to find a room when you arrive in town (which is unlikely to be successful).
How to get there [edit]
Fly to Doha international airport (DOH). Next drive 60 km to the west. There is a spacious car parking just near the beach.
