There is a great selection of budget hotels in Essaouira. However, in the summer there are no free rooms, as the crowd of locals come from Marrakesh.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Marrakesh international airport (RAK) - the largest one in Morocco. Next take a shared taxi or take a bus.

There is also Essaouira airport (ESU). However, it serves just a few routes.

When to go [edit]

The best time for windsurfing at the beach of Essaouira in Morocco is the winter half of the year. As for the summer, the weather is a bit more appropriate for a pure beach holiday.
