Granadita beach

Granadita is a beach located to the east of La Ceiba in Honduras. This is just an ordinary "local" beach being good enough, but with occasional trash. The best coastal area is near the hotel of Palma Real. This place is notable as a basic spot for boat tours departing to Cayos Cochinos Islands. Hotel Palma Real is an excellent beachfront resort with a swimming pool. It is located a little to the east of Granadita. Rooms' rates start from US$180 per night. This is slightly overpriced by the standards of Honduras. However, in this region, this is a rare case of true upscale hotel.

The best time for a beach holiday on the Caribbean coast of Honduras is a dry season from March to August.
