Hard Rock island

Hard Rock is an island resort in the South Male atoll. It is located near the Maldives International Airport. So speedboat transfer from airport is short and easy. However, view of the capital Male town is somewhat disappointing. Hotel grounds are beautiful with perfect beaches and scenic buildings made in the European old style. It is also possible to walk via bridge to the neighboring island of SAii Curio. Unfortunately, snorkeling on the house reef is rather mediocre. While swimming in shallow water is good for children, but not so good for adults. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

Hard Rock Hotel Maldives is a five-star resort with rooms' rates starting from US$500 per night. It is not quite that upscale property by the Maldivian standards. But it is still very good in all respects and cozy. While their value for money is the best.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Maldives international airport (MLE). Next get by the resort's speedboat. Round trip transfer from Male airport to the hotel is US$180$ (child US$90) during peak dates, - or free outside peak dates.

When to go [edit]

You can relax any time of year in the Maldives. But the best is a winter half of the year.
