Jibei island

Jibei is a small island in the north of Penghu archipelago of Taiwan, known for its sandspit. The beach is good, but as it often happens, aerial view is more impressive than it is in the reality. During the high season there are a lot of motorized water activities, that is not very good for a pure relaxation. Shore and seabed: sand, shells, stones. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

Jibei island has several hotels, but these are poorly presented in the international booking systems. Most tourists get here from the main island of Penghu just for one day.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Taipei international airport (TPE). Next fly to airport of Penghu island (MZG), and get to Baisha town by taxi or by bus. There are a lot of boats from Baisha to Jibei island.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday on Jibei island of Taiwan is a summer half of the year, when sea water is warm enough.
