La Plaine beach

La Plaine is a beach on the Atlantic coast of Dominica in the Caribbean. The place is beautiful, but not quite suitable for swimming. As elsewhere in the east of the island, it is best just to walk, enjoying the stunning views of lush vegetation. Shore and seabed: stones, sand. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

There are no hotels directly near the beach. A little to the north, there is Vanil Vaness guesthouse, while Citrus Creek Plantation resort can be found a little to the south - right in the village of La Plaine.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Douglas–Charles airport (DOM) or fly to Canefield airport (DCF). Next hire a taxi or take a bus.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a holiday on La Plaine beach is a dry season in the winter half of the year.
