La Sorgente is a great airport beach in Reggio Calabria, Italy. The place is popular among locals, which usually get here by car. The water is clean and clear, and there are many huge concrete blocks ashore. All the airport hotels are located far from the sea - on the other side of the runway (closer to the passenger terminal). Therefore, there are no hotels near the beach, so feel free to choose suitable accommodation in any area of Reggio Calabria.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to Lamezia Terme international airport (SUF). Next take a train to the stations of Reggio di Calabria OMECA or Reggio di Calabria Aeroporto. There is also a spacios parking lot near the coastline.
