Loc Thanh beach

Loc Thanh is a popular beach in Da Nang, Vietnam. Hoi An Old Town is also located just nearby. Most of the coastline is a long sand dune running along the sea. The place is beautiful in its way, but doesn't quite what we expect from perfect tropical paradise. The best public beach with palms is located slightly to the right - at coordinates 15.897828, 108.366298. This is exactly the place, where the road comes close to the beach. Unfortunately, there is a problem of coastal erosion. So embankments spoil the landscape. But anyway, it is very good spot. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

In the hotels of Loc Thanh beach, rooms' fares range from US$20 to US$300 per day. If you can't afford a more expensive beachfront resort, it is worth to take a guesthouse somewhere to the right side - near good public beach with palms.

Fly to Da Nang International Airport (DAD). Next hire a taxi.
