Makri beach

Makri is a beach in the western suburbs of Alexandroupolis, Greece. This is a pleasant spot with a lot of vegetation. Though coastline is mostly pebbly, it's still quite comfortable for visitors. In the center, there is an upscale sunbeds rental being even better those Italian properties of such a kind. Limanaki Makris marina in the west end of the beach is also rather interesting, since it is used mostly by the local fishermen. Shore and seabed: pebbles, sand. [edit]

There are no hotels right near the beach of Marki. However, within a walking distance from the sea, there are several accommodation options with rooms' fares starting from US$90 per night. LAXD Summer House by Homebrain is the most notable of these.
