Marina di Maratea is a small town by the sea in Basilicata, Italy. There is a main beach of
Di Santa Teresa - the one with a rock in the sea, and another smaller beach located just to the north, and several tiny beaches dotted around. In general, this is a great secluded place, where it is quite possible to spend a week. Please note that, there is nothing but the sea - not even shops, while the train runs not often. Shore and seabed: pebble, stones.
