Montesilvano is a beach to the north of Pescara in Abruzzo region of Italy. This is a good city beach being quite typical for Adriatic coast. The water is shallow right near the coastline, but the depth is good if you move a little further away. Breakwaters are protecting from open sea almost everywhere. The water is clear and very comfortable for swimming. Deco is the best supermarket, while the best cafe is Passaparola (5 euros for a fish dish).
