Parco Caravella beach

Parco Caravella is a private beach in the west of Sistiana town, Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy. Parking, sunbeds and showers are available for a fee. However, there are also two free areas. Anyway, the place is rather expensive, but at least beautiful. Swimming is comfortable. Unfortunately, sea water is usually not quite that clear. It also gets crowded during the weekends. Camping Village Mare Pineta is a great campsite with pool. It is located within a walking distance from Caravella beach.

Fly to Trieste International Airport (TRS). Next get by taxi or by bus.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia is a warm period from July to August.
