Playa Turtle Cay beach
Ultimate guide (May 2025)
Playa Turtle Cay is a private beach on the Caribbean coast of Panama. It is located very far both from Panama City, as well as from Colon. In addition, it is only possible to get here by 4WD car. So the place is very secluded, but still beautiful and manicured. Swimming is comfortable. There are also no waves, nor seaweed in the water. So this is one of the best beaches in Panama. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
Hotel Macolla Beach is a nice resort with rooms' fares starting from US$120 per night. This place is felt like Bahamas. It is definitely worth a visit in case of good discounts. Unfortunately, hotel's beach has rocky sea bottom. But you can walk around the marina to get to great western beach.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to the
major Panama international airport (PTY, Tocumen) or fly to
secondary Panama international airport (BLB, Balboa). Next take a taxi or get by bus.
