Al-Zawa beach

Al-Zawa is a beach located near Nefza town, Tunisia. This is a beautiful place with dunes, but unfortunately without trees. There is a freshwater lake and dam nearby, - just within a walking distance from the beach. So this is a great spot to swim both in the sea, as well as in the fresh water. There are even overwater bungalows in the creek. Of course, it's not quite like Maldives. But anyway, this is a great place for a family holiday. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

There are no hotels near Al-Zawa beach. But several campsites are still available. Wild camping is also possible - like everywhere in Tunisia. However, you'll have to pay to access the beach, - so no really free options.

Fly to Tunis-Carthage international airport (TUN). Next get by taxi.

The best time for a beach holiday in Tunis is a warm period from June to September.
