Bandos Maldives island

Bandos Maldives is a private island not far from Maldives capital town (North Male atoll). This is a perfect tropical escape with white sand and palms hanging over the water. There is also a house reef with good snorkelling. The island has always a lot of tourists, as it's located near the international airport. Hotels [edit]

Bandos Maldives is a four star resort with a minimum room's rate of US$350. But for the majority of dates the fare starts from US$500. Jacuzzi Beach Villa is the most notable accomodation option, - both adults and children like it.

Nearby there is also a small island with a slightly cheaper Malahini Kuda Bandos Resort. Everything is almost the same as on the main Bandos island, but the beaches are not so good.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Male international airport (MLE). Next take a 20-minutes trip by the hotel's speedboat. Round-trip transfer costs US$100 per adult, US$50 per child 2-12 years, infants are for free.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday on Bandos island in the Maldives is a dry season from January to April. As for the rest of the year, - it's a rainy season with a maximum of 2-3 sunny days during the week.
