Bentota beach

Bentota - luxury beach in Sri Lanka. This place is considered to be very prestigious. Nevertheless, the beach itself is rather mediocre. The northern part of the coast is also known as Ventura beach. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Bentota has maximum concentration of luxury beach hotels. Thus the overall level of prices is the highest in Sri Lanka. Fortunately some budget hotels are also available.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Colombo Airport (CMB). Next follow by taxi or by train.

If you want to get by bus, do as in instruction below. Take the free shuttle bus from the airport to Katunayake bus station. Then take bus # 187 to Colombo. Next, take the bus to Aluthgama. Get by tuk-tuk to Bentota.
