Chan May beach

Chan May is a beach to the north of Da Nang, Vietnam. In the west end, it is also known as Cảnh Dương. In fact, it is just a fishing village in a protected bay. There is a cruise port in the east of the bay, while west side has many trees. Sea water is shallow. So the swimming is comfortable and without waves. However, it's not a problem to walk to the depth even during the low tide. There are many beachfront cafes with cheap and tasty seafood. This is a local beach almost without international visitors. Near Chan May beach, there is a large choice of guesthouses with rooms' fares starting from US$15 per night. This is a great destination, if you just want a beach. In addition, you may always get by cheap Grab taxi both to Da Nang/Hoi An, as well as to Hue.

The best time for a beach holiday in Da Nang is a dry season from January to August.
