Lang Van is a wild beach in the west of Da Nang Bay in Vietnam. In the south, it is also known as
Bãi Hầm beach, or
Làng Cùi in the north. All routes to the beach are serious hiking trails via jungle (quite passable though). So there are usually just a few people on the coastline. Most likely someone will try to charge you small entrance fee. It is better just to pay. The place is beautiful, with comfortable swimming and without waves. There is occasional trash on the coast. Anyway, this is a great spot to swim, when waves are strong on the main beach of Da Nang. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
