Chau Tan beach

Chau Tan is a beach to the south of Chu Lai airport, Vietnam. The sea is shallow being great for children. Unfortunately, there are just a few trees, but many beachfront cafes. These are mostly overpriced. So it is worth to check the menu first. For unknown reasons, local cafes don't provide sunbeds on the beach. So this is a pure "local" beach being not suitable for international visitors. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

There are many cheap guesthouses near Chau Tan beach. These are quite basic. While decent hotels are still not available here.

Fly to Da Nang International Airport (DAD). Next hire a taxi.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in Chu Lai is a dry season from January to August.
