Rang beach

Rang is a beach near Chu Lai airport in Vietnam. Palms are only near Hoang Yen resort. While to the right, there is a long wild coastline almost without any trees. And on the left side, there are "local" beach cafes, - cheap, but ugly. Locals have picnics there during the weekends. There is a problem of strong low tides. However, despite shallow waters, sea waves are almost always strong, - except for the calm period from June to August. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

Hoang Yen Boutique Hotel is a good beachfront pool resort with rooms' rates starting from US$30 per night. There are also several cheap guesthouses in the village on the west side of the beach. Beachfront Chu Lai Resort near the airport has been abandoned for a long time.

Fly to Da Nang International Airport (DAD). Next hire a taxi.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in Chu Lai is a dry season from January to August.
