is a residential island in Baa Atoll
, Maldives. It has a domestic airport, as well as excellent beaches. Nearby there is also Hanifaru Bay
lagoon being UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, as a place with the world's best diving. Thus the island is a great place both for a transit overnight stay or for a short vacation. The bottom near the coast is mostly rocky with good snorkeling, but few sandy areas are also available. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. Find hotels in Dharavandhoo

Any comments or ideas are also appreciated:
The beach is not so good compared with Fulhadhoo and Fehendhoo islands, but it's quite Ok anyway with good snorkelling on the home reef.
There are a lot of free space on bikini beach, which was good surprise for me. The only problem was that, bikini beach was far from the hotel.
Shops had the best choice of food, I've seen on other local islands. I will definetely return again!
Diving is not permitted in Hanifaru Bay! So snorkelling is available only.
The season to see manta rays is from June to October (no mantas outside this season). There are a lot of groups of 10+ species! There are also a lot of mantas near Dharavandhoo island.
Unfortunately, whale sharks are not so often in Hanifaru Bay.
