El Arish beach

El Arish is a beach resort in the north-east of Egypt. It's located not far from the border with Israel. Surprise, but this is a very nice town with good tourist amenities, as well as with a beautiful white sand beach. There are also occasional picturesque palms being great for Instagram. In fact, it's not quite clear, who wants to spend a vacation here. Since the location of this place is very inconvenient. Probably, many tourists here are from Israel. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Retac El Arish is a great 5-star hotel with rooms' rates starting from US$100 per night (former Swiss Inn Resort El Arish). There is also good choice of apartments from US$20 per night. This is probably a great spot for all kinds of long stayers.

Fly to Cairo international airport (CAI). Next hire a taxi.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday on the Mediterranean coast of Egypt is a warm period from June to October.
