Kencana beach

Kencana is a hotel beach in the northwest of Sumbawa island, Indonesia. However, non-guests can visit it as well. Feel free just to walk through the hotel. Everybody can also visit their restaurant. The beach itself is good, but there are many areas with pebbles. However, it is still possible to find good sandy areas. Swimming is comfortable even for smaller children, while good snorkeling is possible on the house reef. This is a "local" beach. So it is always overcrowded during the weekends. Hotels [edit]

Pantai Kencana is a good beach hotel with a pool. It is slightly neglected. However, value for money is still fine.

Fly to Bima airport (BMU). Next get by taxi.

When to go [edit]

The best time to relax on the beaches of Sumbawa island is a dry season from April to October.
