Kokuye beach

Kokuye is a beach of an abandoned hotel in Panama. The main building was almost finished, but never opened. There is also neighboring beach to the left side with overwater bungalows and pool. It used to be open. But as for now, it is also abandoned. The beach itself is beautiful - with picturesque palms and good swimming and snorkeling. However, it is still a private property. So probably, it is not worth to visit it without an invitation. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Fly to the major Panama international airport (PTY, Tocumen) or fly to secondary Panama international airport (BLB, Balboa). Next take a taxi or get by bus.

When to go [edit]

It is always rainy season on the Caribbean coast of Panama. However, relatively dry seasons are January, March and October.
