Hippie Beach

Hippie Beach is a private beach on the Caribbean coast of Panama. There are many picturesque palms. But swimming is only possible in a natural tidal pool in the east end of the beach. Unfortunately, most of sea bottom is rocky and shallow. This place is mostly notable for the Tribal Gathering Festival held in March. Fly to the major Panama international airport (PTY, Tocumen) or fly to secondary Panama international airport (BLB, Balboa). Next take a taxi or get by bus.

When to go [edit]

It is always rainy season on the Caribbean coast of Panama. However, relatively dry seasons are January, March and October.
