Koumitsa beach

Koumitsa is a beach on the border with restricted area of Mount Athos in Greece. In fact, these are two different beaches: the western one (small) and wilder eastern beach (long). The place is beautiful and secluded. There are both sunbeds rental, as well as many free areas. To avoid conflicts with beachfront resorts, it is worth to choose eastern beach. Avaton Luxury Beach Resort - Relais & Châteaux is a five-star property with rooms' rates starting from US$500 per night. The hotel is good enough, but their price tag is slightly overpriced.
