Lido di Metaponto beach

Lido di Metaponto is one of the best beaches on the Ionian Sea in Basilicata, Italy. Along the coast, there are many breakwaters, which, however, are not visible from the shore. So this is a good place for small children. The central beach area is always overcrowded in the high season. But if you walk slightly to the side, and you'll find a lot of free space.
