Mtwapa beach

Mtwapa is a resort area in the northern suburbs of Mombasa, Kenya. Copacabana Beach located at Mtwapa creek is a famous center of club life with bars and night discos. The water is muddy, but suitable for swimming. As for the ocean coast, there are ancient ruins of Jumba La Mtwana being an important center of the slave trade. Fly to Nairobi international airport (NBO), next fly to Mombasa airport (MBA). Then get to Mtwapa by taxi or by matatus minibus.
