Mvassa beach

Mvassa is a beach in the south of Pointe-Noire - main city on the Atlantic coast of Republic of the Congo. It is also known as Kouilou. The beach is quite pleasant, with smooth entry into the water and without strong waves. There is Ponton Plage cafe located in the west end. The 9 Houses is the most notable accommodation option in the area. Bungalows are basic, but located right near the ocean.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday on the Atlantic coast of Congo (Rep.) is a period from December to April. On the other hand, sea water is too cold from May to October, while November is a rainy season.
