Playa de Cieneguita beach

Playa de Cieneguita is a beach in the western suburbs of Puerto Cortes, Honduras. Unlike most of the country's coastline, this is quite a decent beach. There are many tourist amenities, while there is almost no garbage ashore. In addition, this place is protected from the east - from the open waters of Atlantic Ocean. Near the beach of Playa de Cieneguita, there are few good guesthouses (some even with a pool). However, these are poorly presented in the Web. So sometimes it may be hard to book a room in advance.

The best time for a beach holiday on the Caribbean coast of Honduras is a dry season from March to August.
