Sunset beach

Sunset Beach is a small beach on the west of Koh Lipe island, Thailand. Initially, it was not the most beautiful one on the island, but now it is becoming to look more attractive due to the lack of mass developement. There are also no so many boats like in the south and east of the island. In general, this is a great place with a chilled out atmosphere. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

Near Sunset Beach there are just a few hotels with fares common for Ko Lipe (room from US$50 per night). That's why there are relatively few people. It is best to book in advance during the high season.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Bangkok international airport (BKK). Next fly to Trang airport (TST). Next take a taxi to Pak Bara village (Pakbara) and get to Koh Lipe by ferry of by public speedboat.

It is also possible to get to Koh Lipe via the Malaysian Langkawi island. In this case you should first fly to Langkawi airport (LGK), and next take a ferry to Ko Lipe.

The best time for a beach holiday in Koh Lipe island of Thailand is a dry season in the winter half of the year.
