Tan My beach

Tan My is the west beach of Hue town, Vietnam. This is a "local" beach with occasional cheap cafes. While some other areas look more like an ordinary fishing village. This is a great cheap place to relax by the sea. Unfortunately, the scenery is not quite a canonical tropical paradise, but still beautiful in its way. Swimming is possible mainly from June to August. But there are usually strong waves the rest of time. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Most of accommodation options on Tan My Beach are homestays, where you just live with a local family. This is cheap and authentic experience, but not for everybody.

Fly to Da Nang International Airport (DAD). Next hire a taxi.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in Hue is a dry season from January to August.
