Tangalle beach

Tangalle (Tangalla) - a great beach in Sri Lanka. In fact it's not just a beach, but a series of beaches and small bays. Keep in mind that the most popular parts of the coast are suffering from crowds of tourists. On the other hand it's often hard to find a hotel near the secluded bays. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Availability of hotels near beach dramatically depends on what part of Tangalle coast you choose. In general, there's no problems with hotels there. However, there are some cozy bays with a maximum of 1-2 hotels nearby.

Fly to Colombo International Airport (CMB). Next follow by taxi, by bus or by train.

During the dry season - from December to March and in July-August.
