Ha Thanh beach

Ha Thanh is the northern beach of Chu Lai region, Vietnam. The beach is rather mediocre, but quite typical for this area. Coastal vegetation is poor. However, there are occasional areas with beautiful sand dunes and many pine trees. Picturesque palms can be found only near some cafes and expensive beachfront resorts. If you walk along the coastline, you'll always find a cozy spot, where you may have a great time in a cheap beach cafe. Sea is calm without waves usually from June to August only. ROBINSON Nam Hoi An is an upscale beachfront resort with rooms' rates starting from US$100 per night. The hotel is good enough, but slightly overpriced for what they offer.

S Villa Tam Tiến is a great beach condo featuring pool. Their rooms' fares start from about US$60 per night.

Tam Thanh Beach Resort & Spa is a four-star beachfront hotel with pool (room from US$40). Probably, their value for money is the best in the area, - though rooms are slightly outdated.

Near Ha Thanh beach, there are also guesthouses from US$15 per night. So the beach has many great option almost for any budget.

The best time for a beach holiday in Chu Lai is a dry season from January to August.
